swynnerton estates working with tHE nfu to mitigate impact of hs2 on farming

We were pleased to have the NFU come to the Estate today to help raise awareness of the perennial problem caused by HS2 to the farming community. As is stands HS2, despite 6 years’ worth of promises to the contrary, and are now not allowing access across the trace during construction. Needless to say, this will have a huge and potentially devastating impact on dairy farmers. Dale Farming, here at Swynnerton, are one of a number of dairy farmers impacted by Phase 2a (Birmingham to Crewe) who are simply asking HS2 to follow through on what was promised and not do a complete U-turn.
